Rules:

• All photos must have been taken at a Cobb County Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affair’s park, facility, activity or event. Please note that this excludes Kennesaw Mountain National Park and city parks (Marietta Parks, Smyrna Parks, Kennesaw Parks, etc...) in Cobb County. See the Cobb website for a complete listing of parks. Pictures taken during programs and events sponsored by Cobb Parks but occur off park property are eligible for entry.
• Photographers agree by entering contest to give permission to Cobb County to use their images in brochures and on Cobb’s website to promote programs in Cobb County. Pictures may be displayed in exhibits, exhibited online and in department brochures. Photos will not be returned.
• Limit 10 entries per person per format (10 color prints and 10 digital photos).
• There will be awards for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and Honorable Mention for each category. Judges will be provided by the Cobb Photographic Society and CCPRCA. Winners will be notified by email (or mail).
• Color prints must be no smaller than 5”x7” and no larger than 11”x14”. Prints may be (but not required) permanently mounted on photographic-type mount board, flush or with a border, or a single mat overlay may be used. Mount board shall not exceed 16”x20”. The entry form must be attached to the back of the mount board or print for each print entered. Digital photos that have been printed may be entered in the color print division. A separate 4”x6” print must accompany each print entry. This print will be scanned for digital use.
• Digital photos may be submitted by email or copied to a CD clearly marked with entrant’s name and number of photos. Photos should be in jpeg or tiff format with a maximum resolution of 1024x768 or 2000 pixels on the long side of the photo . Name the files with your name, division, category and photo # - (example: John Doe_A_NW_01). This would represent your file as John Doe > adult > Nature and Wildlife > photo #1. Digital photos must be accompanied by a print out of the images (may be on one sheet of paper) with entry form attached. Entries that are submitted by email may attach a Word document with the images and entry info or may fax the printout to (770) 528-8814 (Mark Chandler).
