Cobb's outdoor program offers many opportunities for you to
enjoy nature. Educational programs are offered for all ages.
Trails are available for hiking, jogging and cycling. Natural
parks provide an opportunity to explore nature. Whether you
want outdoors for exercise, education or adventure, we have
something just for you.

Silver
Comet Trail
A scenic 12.8 mile multi-use paved trail that begins in Smyrna
and travels west through southern parts of the county. Casual
walkers, hikers, joggers, bicyclists, inline skaters and people
with disabilities can all use the trail and enjoy the same
sights once reserved for the train's passengers. Click

Heritage
Park Trails
Heritage
Park is a natural park offering a 1.7 mile soft surface walking
trail winding through 105 acres with 14.3 acres of wetland
on four separate sites. Visitors can follow the trail through
peaceful, natural areas that are habitats for many animal
and plant species. The trail crosses Nickajack Creek and leads
to the remains of a woolen mill dating back to the Civil War

Cobb Park
A combination of slate
and natural surface walking trails encompasses the park. Pavilions,
open grass areas, creek overlooks and a playground offer the
visitor hours of enjoyment. Click
